I performed a "mvn clean package" on my "aproject" project to generate a jarW file for the project in the target directory called "aproject-1.0-SNAPSHOT.jar".

If we examine the contents of the MANIFEST.MF file in the generated jar file. We can see that it contains the values that we put in it. In addition, it contains other values that were automatically added by the MavenSW Archiver.
